The RF-640 delivers unsurpassed print performance. Brilliant photorealistic imaging at up to 1440 dpi with virtually no chromatic banding. Print speeds up to 521 sqft/hr.

Advanced Print Technology
The VersaEXPRESS RF-640 is equipped with a gold-plated print head to reduce static and enable high quality imaging. Variable dot control produces droplets of seven different sizes for precise, detailed graphics, excellent photographic reproduction, smooth gradations and superb contrast. Roland Intelligent Pass Control precisely controls dot placement between passes, allowing the VersaEXPRESS RF-640 printer to produce smooth gradations, exceptional solid colors and optimal image quality in all print modes, including higher speeds
Mirrored Print Head Configuration
To ensure rich, consistent color at speeds of up to 521 square feet per hour, the RF-640 features a dual CMYK, mirrored print head (MYCKKCYM) that delivers rich, vibrant, consistent colors during bi-directional printing.

Integrated Two-Stage Heating System
The RF-640 features a built-in two stage integrated heater system designed to dry prints quickly – even in high-speed modes – for immediate collection by the take-up unit, finishing, and installation. This advanced system accommodates a wide range of media options and precisely controls the proper amount of heat for each application, yielding outstanding results every time.
VersaWorks RIP Included with Enhanced Productivity Tools
Roland VersaWorks is a user-friendly RIP software that helps RF-640 users achieve outstanding print results right out of the box. Using the latest Adobe® CSPI engine (3019), VersaWorks offers a host of advanced features that include a Predictive Ink Calculator, Spot Color Replacement, built-in Pantone® Spot Color Libraries, variable data printing, embedded ICC support, ink level adjustment tools, advanced cropping, tiling and nesting options, and much more. VersaWorks also includes the Roland Color System of more than 1000 spot colors for easy, effective color management.
