The Pro-Lam PL 1200HP 12 inch Roll Laminator is a high performance laminating - 1/4 inch capable mounting machine that is possibly the fastest 110v 12" laminator in existence. While producing superb finish and edge seal it is capable of speeds of 18 fpm range and will laminate 3 mil. material in excess of 10 fpm. It can use films from 1.2 to 15 mils thick and will laminate materials, such as foam board to 1/4" thick.
Many of these machines are currently in use today as single side laminators, utilizing nylon based films for book covers. This application is utilized by the rapidly expanding short-run publishing industry. Another common application is utilizing the PL-1200 as a short run fill in machine for trade laminators. In fact some have several, each loaded with different films. If a customer needs 1-100 of something laminated set up for a trade laminator can take far longer than actual run time. While tying up valuable high volume equipment. Remember, simply turn it on when you need--warm up time is about 4 minutes on this little guy.
